Becky has five children, two daughters-in-law, and four grandchildren. They all live in the Twin Cities area.
Becky is an English teacher and writer. She is an English professor at the University of Northwestern–St. Paul and at North Central University in Minneapolis. She teaches writing and literature at two home school academies, Mid-Metro Academy and Truth Academy. She is a founder and the current director of Mid-Metro Academy.
In addition to writing, Becky is a freelance writer and editor and is the science writer for Global Wellness Labs.
She is also an award-winning author of both fiction and memoir. She’s published a historical fiction novel, Silken Strands, and a contemporary Christian novella, Shattered Faith. You can read more about her writing at RebeccaMayHope.com.
